I've lived in Minnesota my entire life
I grew up on the Iron Range of northern Minnesota. No shortage of Finnish stock there! Ancestry.com tells me I am of 100% Finnish lineage, and I am proud of it! You'll notice the word "sisu" on some of my designs. Sisu is a Finnish concept described as stoic determination, tenacity of purpose, grit, bravery... We all need it once in a while. My Welsh, German/Norwegian/Native husband has a good bit of sisu, and he's not Finnish at all.
